Maryland Art Place
Maryland Art Place (MAP) is a non-profit art center, established in 1981, dedicated to supporting cutting edge contemporary art in the mid-Atlantic region. MAP promotes and facilitates rewarding exchanges between artists and the public through educational leadership.
- Three state of the art galleries
- 320 feet of wall space
- An online artists’ registry and resource bulletin sponsored by the
Maryland State Arts Council
- An annual Critics’ Residency program funded by the National Endowment
for the Arts.
MAP is supported by individuals, corporations, and foundations. Numerous membership and sponsorship opportunities are available and directly support MAP’s effort to increase the visibility of regional artists. MAP is free and open to the public.
